The gondolas gently move about in the ripples on the Lagoon and seem almost to assume a lifelike motion and character of their own.
This particular view has become somewhat of a photographic cliche. Every visitor to Venice with a digital camera shoots this scene and the modern trend is to tinker about with it until it is ‘different’. I like it just as it is.
