Glenmacnass
Glenmacnass in County Wicklow is undoubtedly best known for its high waterfall and deep valley which terminates at Laragh, close tp Glendalough. The Glenmacnass River rises on the slopes of Mullaghcleevaun and at Lough Ouler on Tonelegee mountain and, after a steep descent, winds amid granite boulders, a peat bog and two small spruce woods along the short stretch to the head of the waterfall.
This series of twelve photographs was made on a single afternoon in September 2004.
Each image is made from two separate exposures, using a six megapixel camera, merged to create images of approximately 9 megapixels in a square format.
